Weekly Bulletin

Below are highlights of What’s On this week and what is coming up at the Precinct. The bulletin is only a highlight please visit our website for more projects, activities and events for you to enjoy.

 

This Week 

Board Game Night
Wednesday 14th June, 6:30-8:30pm
Join us for our monthly night of board games in the Yurt Cafe. Bring your friends, bring your favorite board game. We have a selection of games for you to play and always willing players.
See you there. Refreshments are available including delicious snacks from baker Andy of Bread and Butler.

The Front Room
Friday 16th June, 2-4pm
Join us for a drop in play afternoon for parents and children aged up to 3 years old. This week the group are making Father’s Day cards.

Ukulele (group learning)
Wednesday 14th June, 5:45-6:30pm
The Community Singing Group welcome you to join them for Ukulele. A small group from the singing group have been meeting before singing to learn how to play the Ukulele. Limehouse Writer’s Circle
Limehouse Writers’ Circle is a group of writers who meet once a month at the Precinct. The aim of the group is to share writing and take it in turns to create writing prompts and assignments that challenge the group to write in unfamiliar or innovative ways. The group are looking for new writers who can commit to attending once a month. If you are interested please register your interest with claire@rfsk.org.uk by 1st July. 

Coming Up 

Yurt Salon
Tuesday 20th June, 6:30-9:30pm
On Tuesday 20th June, we will be having our first outdoor event in the amphitheatre area of the Precinct. Led by the playwright Jerusha Green, there will be 4 scratch theatre performances by emerging playwrights and poetry by Michael Tyrell. Doors will open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start. Tickets are £4.71 in advance and £6 on the door. Tickets can be bought here

The Craft Club
Saturday 24th June, 1-4pm
Love to make and craft but never get the time? Come along to our monthly craft club. We celebrate and develop craft skills such as knitting, crochet, upcycling old carrier bags, card and scrapbook making and much more. Bring your own projects, join one of ours or bring a skill to share. All are welcome at the craft club.
