Open Studios with #BowOpen

This week 

Community Gardening Group
Tuesday 6th June, 10-4pm
The sun is shining- the garden needs watering. Join Stephen and the garden group as they continue to grow vegetables, herbs and salad in the Precinct garden.

Thames Tideway Drop In Session
Tuesday 6th June, 5-8pm
Tideway invite the local community to learn more about the Thames Tideway Tunnel at a drop in session they are holding at the Precinct.

Knitting Circle
Thursday 8th June, 1-3pm
A group of knitters who meet every Thursday. You are welcome to bring your own projects or join one of ours. All skill levels welcome.

Mending with Pico 
Thursday 8th June, 7-9pm
Instead of throwing away an item of clothing because it needs repair, bring it along to Mending with Pico. Isobel will be on hand to help and will have few bits and pieces available. All skill levels welcome. Open Studios with #BowOpen
Saturday 10th June 12-5pm
In collaboration with #BowOpen we will be celebrating all things art. Our Artspace will be open for for you to meet our artists, see inside their studios and learn about their work for free. Alongside Open Studios, there will  be a Market for you to take away a piece of affordable art/craft, origami and bead making workshops and the Yurt Cafe will be open as usual. Shhhh, we heard there will be an exhibition opening….

Coming Up 

Board Game Night
Wednesday 14th June, 6:30-8:30pm
Join us for our monthly night of board games in the Yurt Cafe. Bring your friends, bring your favorite board game. We have a selection of games for you to play and always willing players. See you there. Refreshments are available including delicious snacks from baker Andy of Bread and Butler.

Sonic Meditation Study Group
Thursday 15th June, 7-9pm
A regular meet up exploring the compositions of composer Pauline Oliveros and her contemporaries. http://deeplistening.org/site/

Yurt Salon- Scratch Theatre (with a dash of Poetry)
Tuesday 20th June, 6:30-9:30pm
On Tuesday 20th June, we will be having our first outdoor event in the amphitheatre area of the Precinct. Led by the playwright Jerusha Green, there will be 4 scratch theatre performances by emerging playwrights and poetry by Michael Tyrell. Doors will open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start. Tickets are £4.71 in advance and £6 on the door. Tickets can be bought here
