Event Details

During this 2 hour Trade School we will use recycled tree branch slices to make a fun decoration.  You will get creative drawing out your design, it can be anything you like from a fox head to a loved ones initals. We will be using drilling, sanding, pyography and a whole other host of skills to prepare our wood slice. This easy introduction to woodworking will hopefully have you hooked and eager to make more.

Workshop Leader: Bryony is the manager of the social enterprise at Poetry in Wood they create a whole host of decorated wood products. Members of the social enterprise team, who have many years of experience in art, design and woodwork will be on hand to offer help and advice.

Barter Item for Bryony- something for a mouse house [or anything small].

What is a barter? Workshop leaders share their skills in exchange for an item they have requested from those
attending the workshop. It is a communal and friendly way of saying thank you without exchanging money.
