We are a group of knitters who meet every Thursday. You are welcome to bring your own projects or join one of ours. All skill levels welcome.
The Knitting Circle are currently working on 3 craft projects;
Octopi for premature babies– Research has shown the tentacles of a crocheted Octopus help to make premature babies feel safe. The tentacles remind babies of the umbilical cord. The idea originated in Denmark and has been adopted by Poole Hospital.
Knitted & Crocheted Gifts for the Yurt Cafe- The Circle are making hand made gifts for people to purchase in exchange for donation at the Yurt Cafe. All proceeds will go to supporting the Community Projects at St Katharine’s Precinct.
Handmade Gifts for Limefest 2017-For the first time the Knitting Circle will be selling their hand made gifts at this years Limefest on the 2nd July. All proceeds will go to supporting the Community Projects at St Katharine’s Precinct.
