Sanna is an interdisciplinary artist and educator working in analogue and digital photography, collage, drawing and moving image. The ideas driving her practice sit within the realm of social documentary, community, memory and the contribution environment makes on social relationships.
She is a graduate of Photography from the University of Brighton and holds an MA in Art & Design in Education from the UCL Institute of Education. This has led her into teaching in the FE and adult education sector in areas of Photography and Time-Based media.
Her work has been published and exhibited worldwide including the 2016 Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. Her published photobook God Listens to Slayer (2015) received numerous reviews and publicity from the British Journal of Photography, Vice, I-D, Grafik, Dazed & Confused among others.
